1. What is vertical printer and how does it work?
A vertical Printer is a kind of inkjet printer, which uses CMYK +W (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, White) color ink to print digital graphics directly on the wall and other material. It can be considered as a “mobile print shop”; after programing the machine for the project, it moves horizontally on its own on wheels or on a special rail.
2. Printable Materials /Substrates?
The machine can print directly on porous materials such as plaster wall, cardboard, untreated wood, brick/concrete wall etc. and on non-porous materials such as glass, metal, acrylic. Additionally, the machine is equipped with UV ink which is instantly cured on exposure to UV light.
3. What are the printable dimensions?
Height: The vertical axis of our printer of choice is extremely flexible. Our printer of choice has an operating height of 7.6 ft (2.3m). With the possibility of a 3.6ft (1.1m) extension. This translates to a mural up to 11.15ft [top to bottom].
Width: Unlimited
Margins:
Left: 2.3” (6cm)
Right: 3.5” (9cm)
Top: 8.6” (25cm)
Bottom: 6.6” (17cm)
4. Is the printer adaptable to uneven surfaces?
Yes. There are sensors on the printhead, which will help the printer automatically to adjust to the changes in the surface.
5. What's the life of a printed image- indoors and outdoors?
The ink is waterproof and UV resistant, maintaining colour 3+ years outdoor and 10+ years indoor. For extreme environments, a clear coat can be applied to improve resilience. Thanks to the UV cured ink, images are also instantly scratch and abrasion resistant upon printing.
6. What formats can be printed?
We can process and print any graphic image or sketch, regardless of whether it is a raster or vector. Files like JPG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, PDF, AI, PSD, CDR etc.
We can print any photo from the client’s collection or use millions of photos available on websites such as Adobe Stock, Getty images, Flickr, iStock, etc.
To prepare images, posters, text or logos, we use graphics software such as Photoshop, GIMP or online wizards.

Depending on the image, we print in 720 * 1080 dpi, 720 * 1440 dpi, 720 * 2880 dpi.
This allows for stunning effects. Realistic color and detail reproduction are the advantages of our choice of vertical 3D printer.
9. How long does it take to print an image?
On site, before printing, we configure and set up the equipment. Depending on the printing accuracy, the printing speed of the wall printer may vary. From 30 sq.ft to 150 sq.ft per hour. The higher the precision, the slower the printing speed. Printing time can range from 30 minutes to several hours. It all depends on the size of the graphic.
